Vi ar Lilla Vikingar!

Two little vikings stormed the castle today. They stole my cheeseburger, drank all the milk and left the place in ruins. Where is their mother? Honestly!

Um, so I know it's October 2009 and I havn't posted for one solid year, but I got a little crazy today and checked out my cousin's blog and thought what the hay.
It seems like I should really have something exciting to share and all, but I can't think of anything other than the fact that yes, I am going to the Benson Mill Pumpkin walk tomorrow as a vendor and have some awesome friends to tend my two chillins. I shall take a few photos and post them fortnightly. Aggg! Is this so hard for anyone else!

Finally!

So I finally did it and got something posted on our blog. This month has gone by much too fast for a mom with a lot of good intentions. However, I do recognize that my lack of correspondence with family and friends has kept us out of touch. So- here is one new year's resolution to help me keep up to date! I will try to update weekly.

The Hooper Scoop for this week:
We finally have all vehicles in running condition! Just when we thought the green Mirage was truly a manifestation of its name, our mechanic that has been working on it since last May, freed it from his impound/garage. It had a funky electrical problem. The Malibu's leaky undercarriage has been repaired. And the Plymouth works well with the exception of two really annoying technicalities like the driver side window not rolling down and the washer fluid always running dry. We have been fortunate to not have a car payment and little maintenance for a while, so we are not surprised to see things get a little attention now and then.

PHOTO: J painted himself with desitin - Any suggestions on how to clean desitin from couches and carpet?

Also, some of you are wondering if R is in danger of layoffs working for a CAT dealer. His company already had layoffs three weeks ago and we think he's o.k. for a while. Thank you for your concern!
